The platform

SpaceSkout is a marketplace that connects homeowners (hosts) with people looking to rent space (renters). SpaceSkout itself is not a party to rental agreements between hosts and renters, and is not responsible for the condition, safety, or use of any listed space.

Host responsibilities

Hosts are responsible for ensuring their space is safe and legally permitted for the listed use. Hosts are responsible for maintaining their own insurance, complying with local ordinances, and accurately describing their space.

Renter responsibilities

Renters agree to use spaces only for the purpose stated in their booking request, follow the host's house rules, and leave the space in the condition they found it. Renters are responsible for their guests.

No guarantees

SpaceSkout does not guarantee the availability, quality, safety, or legality of any listed space. All bookings are request-based and subject to host approval.
